We have embarked on a great Australian adventure.
We are traveling in a campervan, listening to people stories,sharing some practicle helps meeting groups,and raising awareness for much needed cancer research funds
Stop hold everything that was until Covid19 came along.
Now we are starting a new strategy that you will hear about a little bit latter
I (Steve) was diagnosed with a rare cancer - known as GIST - back in 2006, and as such we have been on this journey for a long time. As many of you know, I have been on a clinical trial for the last 36 months. With such positive results, 25% reduction of cancer in my liver, we want to share with others God's goodness and grace.
I have begun sharing my story with groups across Sydney. Our first talk was with a Country Women's Association group at Blacktown - all went extremely well and I was supported by Nicole from the GI Cancer Institute who came with me and we spoke for about 25 mins.
The GI Cancer Institute help fund research via their network right across Australia and is the organisation we are teaming up with. They are the only organisation in Australia conducting research in to all cancers that affect the digestive system - including oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, bowel and colorectal cancers.
We need your help and would love for you to partner with us in continuing to share the gospel and raise awareness about cancer research! I know first hand the impact clinical trials can have for individuals, and am thankful for the additional time the trial I am on has provided me and my family.

Gastro-Intestinal (GI) cancer is the most common form of cancer claiming a devastating 51 lives each day. At the GI Cancer Institute, our vision is to create a world free from GI cancers. It is thanks to the support of the community that we are able to fund vital clinical trials research to improve quality of life and treatment options for GI cancer patients.
